![]() The dot usually turn green as soon as I turn on the wireless connection function. ![]() The three dots on the connect and share icon/button are not lighting up when I start the wireless device connection. While trying to figure this out I noticed another issue. I read throught the trouble shooting article I have attached the debugging log from Calibre(not Calibre Companion). Nothing is working and I am not exactly sure what to do next. ![]() I read the CC faqs on wirelessly connecting to Calibre. I have also checked my IPV4 it's the same as the Calibre IP address. I have reset my router and re-booted my kindle. I have re-installed Calibre and Calibre Companion. I tried wirelessly connecting to Calibre with my firewall and antivirus turned off but that did not work. I have tried manually setting port and IP address in the wireless device connection settings in CC. I checked my antivirus and my firewall there was an exception for calibre already made. I have completely disabled both of the VPNs I use. I have disabled all my other network connections such as the virtual networks attached to my virtual machines. What do you see there under IPV4 for your Wired adapter? Open your WINDOWS Network settings: Ethernet. IMHO Having the 'server' wired is the best, most solid, solution WDC connects via the local Network (in this case 192.168.0.x). All that is different is the Port# (9090 is the default) The same address as the CONTENT server needs to be used (if that is working). My library PC has no wifi turned on, but wifi on my CC tablet connects to PC on wired LAN ok someone connect me if wrong but AFAIK you can use "connect wireless device" even if the library is on a wired only PC, just like I do with content server. Post all that you see, or a screengrab of that interface windowĭo you have more than one network card installed ? all I see there is a single address which i know is this PCs local LAN address 192.168.0.72 Is that one of the calibre IP addresses shown when u select "start wireless device connection" on share/connect tabĪs Chaley said, seeing multiple addresses there is strange, e.g. That log showed CC seeing calibre content server on 192.168.0.16Ĭan you not use those same values for wireless device ?
